Care Assistant Job Role
30 bedded home
Elderly residents, some with Dementia/Alzheimer's/Physical limitations or disabilities
Job roles can include but not limited to:
Assisting with washing, dressing, application of creams, bathing/showering, toileting
Serving meals prepared by kitchen staff, assisting with feeding where required and promoting good food and fluid intake
Promoting the independence, health, safety, wellbeing, privacy and dignity of residents
Following infection prevention and control procedures, cleanliness and hygiene guidelines and promoting a clean, safe and hygienic environment
Assisting residents with activities and individual interests/preferences
Promoting and meeting unique, individual needs and working in a person-centered way
Attending all mandatory training
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Paid induction programme initially.
Shifts are 7.5 hours
Early - 7am - 2.30pm
Late - 2pm - 9.30pm
30 hours full time, 15 hours part time. Overtime available at times.

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
Salary: £11.21 per hour
