Therapeutic Residential Care Worker - Children's Services
Do you have a desire to make a difference to the lives of children? We need Children's Therapeutic, Residential Care Workers to join our small, established team. Part-time and full-time packages are available from 16 hours up to 40 hours (weekends and sleeping nights included). At Jigsaw Therapeutic Care we are delivering positive change to the lives of the children we support. Helping them to develop their personal wellbeing, healthy relationships, education and the skills to enable them to success into independent adulthood. Together we are building a better future for each child.
We are looking for those who share our values, our drive and our therapeutic approach. We provide free training training and will support you through the Level 3 NVQ Diploma Caring for Children in a Residential Setting in addition to providing a suite of mandatory and supplementary courses both online and face to face.
Our main purpose is to maintain high quality care which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of the children and young people in our home.
Working from the guidelines from the 2015 Children's Home Standards, and all relevant legislation and regulation. We need you to be committed in your care, providing enthusiastic and energetic support 100% of the time.
We offer competitive rates of pay with performance related annual increases, 23 days holiday per year, increasing up to 28 days with continuous service, a company pension scheme and annual pay increases, measured by Key Performance Indicators.
All of our care staff need to be at least 23 years old and must undergo an enhanced DBS check.
