This specialist manufacturing business who provide innovative products to the automotive industry are looking to strength their supply chain department by attracting into their team a Production Planner who will provide efficient and achievable plans to production.
Within the role of Production Planner, key responsibilities will be to: -
- Use MRP to produce sequenced daily/weekly production plan.
- Consider factors such as capacity, material availability and line efficiency.

Ensure customer requirements are achieved whilst balancing site capabilities.- Identify supply chain risk and escalate when required.
- Create, defer or cancel production schedules as required.
- Produce medium term manufacturing plans.
The successful candidate will: -
- Have gained their planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Have used ERP/MRP systems or similar.
- Have excellent IT skills.
- Be a confident communicator with internal colleagues and external customers.
